This is a great free workshop to help parents deal with Anxiety in themselves and their children with special needs.
The meeting is on November 10 and will be a HYBRID meeting--in person as well as through zoom! We are excited to see how many parents RSVP! Here is the workshop link: https://bit.ly/AnxNov22
We will have our Halloween Parade on Monday, October 31st starting at approximately 1:2o pm. Parents are invited to come, but ALL parents must be outside (not inside as students will be lined up to see their peers) lined up along the courtyard area on the North Side near the playground.
Please make sure the costume follows district dress standards.
This is a great workshop to help parents understand the IEP Process, communicate more effectively with teachers, and be more prepared to be collaborators at IEP meetings!
The meeting is on October 19th via zoom, so anyone can join, but they will need to RSVP as soon as possible! You may also choose to include this on your school newsletters and/or websites. Please let me know if you have any questions!
We have a school wide goal that all students at Wilson Elementary will be able to correctly identify 55 letter names in one minute and 55 letter sounds in one minute. When students have automaticity with their letters and sounds it helps them to build phonics and reading skills. We would love to see the students working on these skills at home in addition to what we are doing at school.
There were some items handed out at SEP Conferences to support this goal at home, if you did not receive these items that evening your child can stop by the office and pick some up.
