You don’t want to miss lunch on March 13! In honor of Pi Day, we’re serving up a sweet treat — Moon Pies!
Yes, we know Pi Day is officially March 14, but since that’s a Saturday (and we can’t let a good pie celebration go to waste), we’re starting the party one day early!
Join us for lunch on Friday, March 13 and celebrate Pi Day the best way we know how… with a delicious Moon Pie! 🌙🥧
Come hungry and don’t miss it — this is one lunch that’s out of this world! 🚀

Wilson Elementary Crystal Apple Award 2026
Jordan Johnson is one of those teachers who just makes everyone around her better. She’s incredibly dedicated to her students, passionate about what she does, and one of the kindest people you’ll meet. If you’ve worked with Jordan, you also know she brings a great sense of humor to the job. Jordan is a great teammate and is willing to share and support those she works with.
She is the kind of person you want on your team—someone who lifts people up, supports those around her, and cares deeply about both her students and her colleagues.
Congratulations, Jordan! This award is very well deserved, and we’re all lucky to work with you at Wilson Elementary. 🍎

School wide Read-A-Thon to celebrate Read Across America week was a success.

Wilson Elementary will celebrate Dr. Seuss / Read Across America Week, March 2- March 6! Students brought home a flyer with our optional dress-up days, along with a Reading Bingo board on the back. We encourage families to complete the Reading Bingo together at home and return it by March 31st (with a parent’s initials) to be entered into a prize drawing. On Wednesday, we will also host a school-wide Read-A-Thon during the last half hour of the school day. We look forward to a fun week focused on celebrating reading and appreciate your continued support at home!

This year’s Wilson’s Teacher of the Year has built a welcoming classroom community while working with students, ensuring they feel safe, valued, and loved. She is positive and believes in all of her students. She maintains high expectations while showing genuine care towards her students. She communicates effectively with students, families, and those around her. The love she shows for each of her students is amazing.
This year’s Wilson teacher of the year is Lacy Elbaba.

First Grade Friends in Mrs. Kunz's class achieved their I-Ready math goals they set.

Our Wilson Choir has been busy over the past week showcasing all they have been learning. They performed for our school and the Nebo School Board last week, and then shared their talents with family and friends last night at Payson High School. Each performance was outstanding! Thank you, Miss Diana, for the time, dedication, and care you put into supporting our Wilson students—we truly appreciate you!

Tyler saved his "attendance bucks" and bought himself and a friend a picture on social media. Way to go Tyler! Keep getting those "attendance bucks"

Wilson was invited to share all the great things that are happening in our school at Board Meeting. Our student council explained this year's theme: "Piece by piece we create excellence." Then our school choir had everyone singing along to 'Holiday Road'.
