Saying Goodbye to Faculty and Staff

Submitted by cami.chang on

Part of what makes Wilson Elementary such a great place to be are the individuals who work here. We have been blessed to know the following amazing people and are grateful for their contributions to the school and community. Their hard work, expertise, and friendship have touched our lives for the good. With all of their unique adventures ahead, we wish them the best! Good luck, have fun, and you will always hold a place in Wilson's heart!

Summer School

Submitted by cami.chang on

Our school holds summer school once a week during the summer break! If you are interested in having your child attend summer school, feel free to send your child. Summer school is held at the school every Tuesday from 9am - 11am throughout June and July. This is a great opportunity to keep your child's mind invigorated throughout the summer and to catch up on any confusing concepts from last year. Have a great summer!

4th Grade Mountain Man Rendezvous

Submitted by cami.chang on

Last  month the 4th grade classes got together for a fun mountain man rendezvous to celebrate what they have learned in Social Studies this year. In preparation for the event, the students earned "beaver pellets" to attend the event, and the experience was worthwhile for all. Activities included arm wrestling, stick pull, food (scones, buffalo chips, and rootbeer), log hammer and nails, and leg wrestling. Enjoy looking at the pictures that captured some of the fun moments from the day!

Kinect Visits Wilson

Submitted by cami.chang on

Last Monday the school gathered in the gym to watch the Kinect dance company from BYU. They did a lot of cool  things. It was interesting to see them do all of the cool shapes with their bodies, such as: a dragon, a plane, and a bunch of other things. (Some people tried the plane outside!) There were only two boys out of the team, and one did a backflip. There was some cool music as well as the dances. Everybody in the room thought it was awesome. So it was a good thing to have them at Wilson Elementary School.
