To everyone who came to the book fair and especially the Family Reading Night last week, thank you! The book fair always sends a happy buzz around the school, and the Family Reading Night was a blast! Take a look through the pictures to see the students who won posters from the book fair for wearing green/Wilson shirts or bracelets on Friday and families enjoying the Family Reading Night. A special thanks to the PTA for helping with the book fair, as well as Mrs. Draper and Mrs. Eckton joining them to help with the Family Reading Night!

From 5:00-7:00pm, come to the school gym, read books with your children, and get your family's name entered into a drawing for one of three gift baskets! In addition, every student who comes with an adult will have their name entered into a drawing for a free book! Along with that, for each student who attends this event, $1 will be given to that student's teacher to buy books for the classroom. It doesn't get better than that! Come on out and check out all the amazing books we have!

New School Nurse Spotlight: Kelsey Gardner

Submitted by cami.chang on

We would like to officially welcome Kelsey Gardner as our new school nurse! Mrs. Gardner has four children and two stepchildren, and she absolutely loves Italian food and chocolate! If given an hour of free time, Mrs. Gardner would read, relax in a bubble bath, and play with her kids. Her dream vacation is to go to Europe and visit many countries there. She loves fantasy and adventure books, including Harry Potter and Rick Riordan books. A fun fact about Mrs. Gardner is that she can say “I don’t know” in ten languages!
