Salem Witches 5k Runners from Wilson!

On Saturday, October 29, Salem Hills High School sponsored the Salem Witches 5k Run.  One of our 5th grade students ran and placed 4th in her age division.  Congratulations to Amberly Peacock!  Also, each of the schools in the district was invited to put together a team of teachers to compete in the race.  Our team from Wilson Elementary won first place!  The members of our team were Ms. Barber, Mrs. Beal, Mrs. Cook, Mr. Nowell, and Mr. Hansen.  Ms. Barber and Mr. Nowell each placed 4th in their age divisions, Mrs. Beal and Mrs. Cook each placed 2nd in their divisions, and Mr. Hansen placed 1st in his division.  Go Lions!
