Just a few reminders as we approach the opening of school on August 19 for 1st-5th grade students and August 26th for Kindergarten students:
School Hours: 8:45 AM - 2:15 PM Monday-Friday
AM Kindergarten Hours: 8:45 AM - 11:00 AM Monday-Friday
PM Kindergarten Hours: 11:55 AM - 2:15 PM Monday-Friday
If you have not signed your Kindergarten student up for an assessment, please call the school on Monday to get this taken care of. We plan on having these assessments on August 19-21, please plan on about 30-45 minutes.
For those students that will be having "Home Lunch" we invite you to have your student bring their home lunch in a paper or plastic bag so they can dispose of the bag after they eat lunch.
For our Open House on Tuesday, August 18, we invite you to help us out with the following:
Students whose last name ends in the letters A-H, please plan on coming to Wilson to meet your teacher from 9:00-10:30 AM.
If your last name ends in the letters I-Q, please plan on meeting your teacher from 10:30 AM until Noon.
If your last name ends in the letters R-Z please plan on meeting your teacher from 1:00-2:30 PM.
Please plan to come during your assigned time. The schedule (by last name) is designed to keep everyone safe AND to practice social distancing. If this time is not possible, please contact your child's teacher or the school for instructions.
Face Coverings Required. To ensure safety, please try to send only one (1) member per family so we can follow social distancing and safety protocols. If it is necessary for multiple family members to attend, they are welcome to please wait outside while the family representative (parent/guardian) comes into the school with the student(s). If you are sick or someone in your household is sick, please do not come to the school.
We would love for you to take advantage of this opportunity so on the First Day of School (August 19th) your child(ren) can enter the school without family member(s) to help with safety and social distancing.
When we start school next week, we invite you to NOT drop off your kiddos before about 8:30 AM each morning unless an earlier drop off is necessary or if your kiddos eat breakfast at the school. We also invite you to allow your kiddos to stay outside (especially on good weather days) until the first bell rings at 8:35 AM to practice social distancing.
We have a bunch of "Free Haircut" coupons to Signature Cuts on Payson Main Street available on a First Come-First Serve basis if you are interested.
