Nebo Foundation Grant

Submitted by breanna.partridge on

Before COVID-19, the Nebo Education Foundation met to discuss submitted educational grants for students in Nebo School District. One of the goals of the foundation is to fund worthwhile projects in the district that provide resources to enrich student learning. The Nebo Education Foundation functions through generous donations made by individuals and businesses.

Brian Rowley, board member, said, “The funds donated by our generous benefactors enable our fine educators to enhance both traditional and technology based methods of teaching.  We could not provide this assistance without the donations we receive from our communities, corporate, and private donations.”
Congratulations to the following teachers that continue to inspire the minds of students.

Wilson Elementary – Karen Haskell
Karen Haskell, second-grade teacher at Wilson Elementary, said, “Yay!! I am so excited to have received a grant from the Nebo Education Foundation.  The chromebooks in our classroom are so outdated and need replacing.  In our classroom we use chromebooks across the curriculum.  These new computers will be a huge asset to add to our learning environment. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you Nebo Education Foundation!”
