Wilson Elemtary third-grade students are learning about the commutative, associative, and identity properties of addition. The teachers have been trying hard to make math fun and engaging. One way the teachers have done this is through hands on learning and using props with a little bit of acting to remember. In the picture Justin Risenmay appears as Captin Identity-he likes himself the way he is, he does not want to change so the only thing you can do is add 0 to him, so he does not change.  He is the hero of the addition world. "Captin Identity is so cool!  He helped me learn how to do math"  said Addison Deeben "It is important to learn math, because it is something you are going to need to do your whole long life!"
