Our 4th and 5th graders participate in a keyboarding class every year. There is a keyboarding competition held, and these are our finalists moving on to the district competition. Way to go, lions!

Savannah Stinson (6th grade) and Mason Walton (5th grade) both made it to the 4th round at the district spelling bee on Saturday. Out of 187 spellers (from grades 4-8) they beat 154 students! They represented our school exceptionally well, and we are proud of them! Go lions!
This Tuesday, March 28th, is our school family night! The theme is basketball and March Madness because we are "mad" about reading! Come to the school from 5:30-7:30pm to enjoy free food (hot dogs, chips, and cookies), fun activities to help with reading at home, a chance to win family gift baskets worth $50-$100, and an opportunity to make free throws for free books! It is sure to be a fun night for all, and we can't wait! Teachers and students are encouraged to wear basketball jerseys/attire on Tuesday to school. See you then!
Recently our very own Shaun Ward, head custodian, was nominated to receive the PEAK award for being an incredible Nebo employee! Not only does Mr. Ward keep our school in good condition, he also shovels snow, manages the students at breakfast and lunch, helps the teachers, and gets to know the students and teachers at our school. Mr. Ward is a friendly employee, and we are so lucky to have him! Way to go, Mr. Ward!
1st and 2nd grades had the opportunity to watch a marionette show put on by Dental Alliance. They learned how to care for their teeth and ways to prevent cavities. What a fun time!
