Parent Teacher Conferences THIS THURSDAY!

Thursday, October 13th, from 3:00-9:00pm, is our first Parent Teacher Conferences night of the school year! We are looking forward to talking with you about your child, celebrating their accomplishments, and making goals to help them progress. Please sign up for a time to meet with your child's teacher. Nebo Student Wellness Policy

Reminder to all parents that Nebo Student Wellness Policy states:

6.2 Parties, Celebrations, and Rewards

6.2.1 Parents, teachers, and schools are encouraged to use non food items for parties, celebrations, and rewards. Foods made available to students on campus for purposes of class or school parties, celebrations, or rewards should feature healthy choices and emphasize nutrient density, fruits and vegetables, minimal fats and added sugars, and moderate portion sizes.

Mental Health Services Awareness Night

This year’s Intermountain Mental Health Services Awareness Night will be held onThursday, October 27, 2016, from 5:30 – 9:00 p.m. at the Brigham Young University Wilkinson Center. The evening will include an information fair featuring 40+ community mental health resources. Dr. Greg Hudnall of Hope4Utah will speak at5:30 on suicide prevention.  The keynote address will be given at 6:00 by Elder Gregory A.

Love and Logic Parent Class

Are you interested in learning about how to parent your children with love and logic? Nebo School District is providing classes on this very topic. The Parenting with Love and Logic course is designed to help parents practice effective parenting without the power struggles. Parenting with Love and Logic teaches parents and children to accept natural consequences and reach a win/win agreement. The course length is 3-4 weeks. Please pre-register with a secretary listed below to ensure placement into the class. The cost of the class is $12 for a book.
