Attendance Contest!

Attention, Wilson lions! We are excited to start a new attendance incentive program that starts on Monday, April 17th and runs through May 19th. Each day, all the teachers will take attendance and put the percentage of their class that was present and on time on the board outside their classrooms. Our leadership team will record the classroom percentages and determine which grade level had the highest attendance average for the week. The winning grade gets a prize! We encourage all parents and guardians to enable and motivate their students to be ON TIME EVERY DAY! Good luck to all grades!

Congratulations to our students here at Wilson Elementary on winning our reading competition against the adults! It was a close race, but in the end the students read more minutes and earned more points for their team! Thanks to everyone who participated. Last Wednesday, after our family reading night, we held an assembly to announce the winning team. Also announced were the names of the gift basket winners from the family night!
