As you have likely heard, yesterday the governor's office dismissed school for the next two weeks, beginning on Monday, March 16th. This is a dynamic, constantly evolving situation that we are navigating the best we can.
The tentative plan will be that teachers will need Monday, March 16 and Tuesday, March 17 to prepare "At Home Learning" opportunities for your students. This may include online learning, use of computer programs such as iReady, Raz-Kids, Imagine Learning, Reflex and physical work packets that can be picked up at school. You will receive an email with an attached survey from your students teacher in regards to internet availability and device access. Please fill out this survey as soon as you can so we can start our preparation process. We are hoping to have things up and ready by Wednesday to begin this new learning format.
We are also discussing how to provide "Grab & Go" breakfast and lunch options for students who may need meals during this dismissal. THIS WILL BEGIN ON MONDAY, MARCH 16. Parents, you will be sent an email with a survey from your students teacher in which you can fill out a form to let us know if your child would like a breakfast or a lunch or both. Please fill out this survey as well. Breakfast will be available from 8-9 am and Lunch from 11 am -12 pm. Each child will be charged for the meal just as they would on a regular day. Those on free or reduced lunch will continue to receive that service as normal. Students can pick up their meals at school and take them back home to eat. The school lunchroom will NOT be open.
THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR YOUR PATIENCE AND UNDERSTANDING. This situation is unprecedented and will require flexibility from all of us. However, I want to reassure our school community that an army of committed teachers, technicians and support staff will begin Monday morning to figure this all out. WE'VE GOT THIS! We love your kids and want to keep everyone safe and healthy through this crisis.

El desayuno estará disponible de 8 a 9 a.m. y el almuerzo de 11 a.m. a 12 p.m. A cada niño se le cobrará por la comida tal como lo haría en un día normal. Aquellos que tienen almuerzos gratis, o precio reducido continuarán recibiendo este servicio de manera normal. Los estudiantes pueden recoger sus comidas en la escuela y llevarlas a casa para comer. El comedor escolar estará abierto durante el tiempo que se de el desayuno o el almuerzo.
