Zak Nowell just finished an internship in Nebo School District and is ready and excited to teach second grade here at Wilson! Mr. Nowell loves steak and potatoes and his wife's coconut cream pie. He enjoys spending time outdoors doing anything and everything! He especially likes hunting, fishing, golfing, and snowboarding. He has been married for four years, and he and his wife love their dog Peanut. Mr. Nowell likes reading books, such as classics like The Odyssey and the series Twice Upon a Time. He went on his dream vacation this summer to Alaska, so his new dream vacation is to go to Tahiti! When asked why he wanted to become a teacher, Mr. Nowell said, "I had some amazing teachers in my life that have become like family to me....One of my heroes was a teacher and my wrestling coach who really mentored me and helped me foster a love for teaching. I can always turn to him when I need help, and he's always there to answer my questions or make me work harder to find the answer." We can't wait for you to meet Mr. Nowell, and we welcome him to the Wilson lion family!
