Literacy Week and Book Fair!
April 9-13
Monday- The Cat in the Hat day: wear your favorite hat.
Tuesday- Favorite Character day: Dress like a character from a book.
Wednesday- Llama Llama Red Pajama day: wear pajamas
Thursday- Fox in Socks Day: wear crazy socks
Friday- Hooray for Hair Day: wear your hair crazy
Reading Contest: The class that reads the most out of each grade for the week will earn a kickball game against the PTA and books for their classroom!
Teachers Love to Read Contest: Can you guess who’s reading what book? Look for the poster in the front hallway. The student who gets the most correct wins a book from the Book Fair!
Parents and Pastries: Come read with your child Thursday night April 12 5:00-7:00 P.M., eat a treat, shop the book fair and enter to win a family reading basket!

Book Fair will be open 30 minutes before and after school. *Fair will not be open after school Friday. *Fair will be open during parents and pastries.
*Friday morning fair will be open until 9:30, parents shop while your kids learn!
*Pencil pull is back: For 25 cents you get to pull a pencil and win a prize. All money goes to buying books for our school. Prizes: candy, toy, poster or a free book available before and after school.
