To help celebrate this big event we are making a commemorative cookbook!

Did your children attend Wilson? Did you attend Wilson yourself? Are you a supporter of Wilson Elementary? We want to include your recipe and memories in our cookbook! This cookbook will also include fun quotes from the students, nearly 600 delicious recipes, dividers designed by students, and a full history of the school, including pictures! It will be a great cookbook that you will want to keep for years.

This year the theme for the refletions contest was "Beauty is. . ." and we certainly had some beautiful entries! The winners were announced at school on November 3rd and an open house was held later that night to showcase all the artwork. We would like to thank Hogi Yogi, Crest, and Covey Center for the Arts for donating prizes.

Wilson Elementary, It's Electric!

Fifth-grade students at Wilson Elementary have recently been studying about electricity. While walking down the hallway you could see lights flashing and buzzers coming from Mrs. Kristy Litster's room. Students were able to build circuits out of nine-volt batteries, old Christmas lights, and electric powered buzzers. Pictured is Lizbeth Tinoco showing off her circuit made to power an old Christmas light.
